Question

Well, let's get started. I have SO much to learn and ask.

How do you all store your flour? I'm not sure if I'm doing it the best way, but I keep mine in the freezer in it's original bag with a bag clip to hold it closed.

See what I mean...I need you girls!

Other than tasting like freezer, I'm sure your method is safe for the flour. We keep ours in an airtight Tupperware container. Tupperware-brand. Works super and its made in America!

C,

I used to store it that way (in an air tight container), until a roommate told me it would turn rancid and with that she tossed mu precious four in the freezer.

Thanks for the reply! Hooray for Tupperware!

Maybe it would turn rancid if you didn't use it in 3 years...I think flour is pretty resilient. :)

I keep mine in its original bag and then put it in a big ziploc bag. Is that okay? It seemed "airtight" to me.

Steph, that's probably how we'd keep ours if we didn't have the Tupperware. We only got nice T-ware cause the lady in Dodge City went out of business and sold it all for 50% off. Otherwise, I don't know that we'd have bought it all. But we do love it.

Stephanie, you know, that you mention it, that's how we've kept ours in the freezer. When I bought this new bag of flour, I was out of ziplocks. I get so overwhelmed sometimes that I didn't even realize it was missing the ziplock bag. I just had a feeling something wasn't "right". Geesh, I'm such a corndog sometimes. :P
