Showing your kids love...

There are so MANY different ways mommies show their love and I'm always up for more ideas. Would anyone like to share how you let your love shine?

I change Mcclellan's diaper. Um...sometimes I feed him. :) Do share yourself, dear Brenda!

I use that blue bulb sucker thing on her nose when it's stuffy. I don't think she really appreciates it. Actually, the last time I was "cleaning" her nose, I realized how many times my mom must have done that thankless job so I sent her an email saying "thanks." Better late than never.

Yes, our moms did a lot for us. What prompted me to bring up the subject was that a friend of mine says, "do you need a kiss/hug?" whenever her 21 month old tot trips or bonks her head, etc. The little girl smiles so big and I can tell it makes her feel so secure and loved when her mommy offers that to her. I started doing that with Savannah and already feel so much closer. I've also been showering her with kisses all over, like I used to when she was younger.(like that was long time ago...) I guess I wasn't doing it so much after she learned to run. I must remember to hug them tight, and often. That way, when they are older and I try that "stuff" on them, it won't come as such a big surprise. Let me know of cute little ways you make your tot feel secure.

C,

I see you use "word up", too!
